Carlisle Housing Opportunities Corporation

Carlisle Housing Opportunities Corporation's neighborhood development program encourages home-ownership in areas of primarily rental housing. This program gave rise to the Pitt Street/North Pitt Street Pride Neighborhood Development Project in the Hope Statin Community, whose goal is to create 25 new homeowners over a five-year period. In addition, current qualifying neighborhood homeowners may receive funding for rehabilitating to their home.

 

Memorial Park Homework Club

This after school program meets at Memorial Park Train Station on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoons from 4:00-5:30 p.m. It is a free program for elementary students with the goals of homework completion and life skills training, along with offering children a safe and structured environment.
